SQL servers and file servers have many of the same support and maintenance requirements as desktops, but their unique hardware and central position within the company means that some specific server support knowledge is needed. Our Server Management Agreement gives you the reassurance that Terminal B will respond quickly and thoroughly to any questions or issues you have about your servers, and even in the event of hardware failure or some other major mishap, your monthly cost will remain the same.

Our Server Management program includes the following for server support:

Unmetered On-Site Support – for server support issues that require the physical presence of a technician, we can usually set up same-day appointments, sending a technician to your site as soon as possible to deal with any issues. If your company would like one of our knowledgeable technicians on-site on a regular basis, we'll set up a regularly scheduled appointment.

Server Monitoring – iif the helpdesk is alerted by our server monitoring system with a non-emergency issue after business hours, we'll address it promptly. If you have an emergency, we have technicians on-call to assist you and put things right as quickly as possible. A technician is responsible for answering this phone at any time, so if you call us with an emergency outside of our normal business hours, we can begin solving the problem immediately.

Unlimited Add/Drop/Changes of Users and Users' Permissions – the access and account needs of your employees will change as your company grows. Terminal B ensures that your directory modifications and SQL Server changes take place quickly and correctly.

Email and Data Backup Policies – a well-configured email or SQL Server backup process will store the information you need, but doesn't consume an excessive amount of your server and network resources. Terminal B has experience designing data backup solutions that work for companies of all sizes, and will work with you to find out what you need and how to get data backup policies in place.

Data Backup Monitoring – a well-run server backup system should be an automated process. For several reasons, however, backups can stall or fail; you need to be sure that those backups run to completion so that your data's there in case of emergency. Terminal B's data backup monitoring and alert solution, as part of our larger server monitoring network, notifies us if a server backup doesn't go as planned, so that we can remedy the problem and reschedule as soon as possible.

Test Data Backup Restores – an email or SQL Server backup is only useful if the integrity of the data is maintained; a flawed backup can cost your company time, money, and effort, and in the end bring you no closer to restoring lost data. Terminal B uses an automated process to test the accuracy of the server data backup, which brings to our attention any omissions or errors that could prevent you from accessing the stored data. If we find a problem, we correct the issue right away.
